Most "cooling" mattresses on the Sri Lankan market were designed for cold-country bedrooms. The Sunrise was built around a different brief: what does a mattress need when the bedroom is 28°C with 80% humidity at 2am, and the ceiling fan can only do so much?
Our answer treats cooling as a system, not a single layer. The cool-touch cover wicks heat and moisture off your skin. Gel memory foam conducts warmth away from your body. And the pocket-spring core lets air move through the mattress all night instead of trapping it, which a solid block of foam simply cannot do. That airflow is the quiet reason the Sunrise is built around springs, not just gel.
In Sri Lanka, "orthopedic" has come to mean hard. But hardness is not support. A mattress that is one firmness everywhere is the wrong firmness somewhere: too firm, and your shoulder cannot sink, so your spine bends out of line all night. The Sunrise is a 5-zone mattress: its spring core is tuned in five zones instead. Softer where you are broadest, at the shoulders. Firmer where you are heaviest, through the hips and lower back. Your spine rests in a straight, neutral line whether you sleep on your side or your back.
Because every spring is pocketed individually, movement stays where it starts: one of you can get up at five without the other finding out. And the reinforced perimeter holds firm on all four sides, so two sleepers get the full width of the bed, right to the edge. (We've written more about what support actually means in the journal.)
The real test of a mattress is year six, not night one. The Sunrise uses high-resilience foams that keep their shape, a spring core engineered not to dip, and a cover that keeps moisture out of the layers that matter most. The 10-year warranty is not a marketing number; the build is what makes it possible. Keep your BuyMe.lk invoice, and that is all the paperwork a claim ever needs.
Medium-firm, on the firmer side: about 7 on a 1–10 scale. Back and stomach sleepers will feel most at home, and the reinforced perimeter keeps the edge solid rather than soft. Side sleepers still get give at the shoulder and hip from the zoned core. But if you love a plush, deep sink-in feel, the Sunrise will feel firm to you, and we'd rather tell you that now than after you've unrolled it. If you're unsure, message us on WhatsApp and we'll walk through firmness, sizing and any sleep concerns before you order.
Rotate head-to-foot every three months for the first year, then twice a year after. The water-resistant cover wipes clean with a barely damp cloth and mild soap; no need to remove it. Air the mattress on a dry day with the windows open every few months. Don't fold or bend the mattress at any time: the pocket springs don't recover.
One mattress compressed, vacuum-rolled and boxed in protective plastic, and one care guide card. Your courier delivers to your door. Unrolling is a two-person, ten-minute job: place the roll on your bed frame, cut the plastic carefully, and the mattress takes its full shape within a day or two.
